I almost shed a tear when I saw your Far From the Madding Crowd quotation. I need to read that again. Thank you for reminding me and making me miss Cornwall with every newsletter.

Thank you. I need to reread it again too. I did pack it in my bag with plans to read it, but I ended up rereading my WIP instead.

Perhaps you will one day return to Cornwall. I’d like to think I might get an opportunity to venture back to Canada. Let me know if there is anything in particular you would like to see me blog about.

Here in the northeast of the US we shear our woolies in April. It’s definitely stressful to the sheep and to those of us who get knocked off our feet by a fleeing ewe.

What lovely sheep! Yes, I did get rammed by a castlemilk ewe as we were getting them into a smaller enclosure in the shed. I’ve got a nice bruise on my thigh right where her horn got me.
